Laurie Robb

Events Coordinator Chair

Laurie recently relocated to the Akron area after spending her entire life and career in upstate New York – in the Syracuse and Rochester regions. She joined NEO WiCyS in the fall and will serve as co-chair for event coordination as part of the leadership team.

Laurie has 25 years of experience in marketing and communications across a variety of industries including healthcare, real estate development, and architecture & engineering. She transitioned to technology marketing and cybersecurity about five years ago where her primary focus has been product marketing.

​

In her current role as Director, Product Marketing, at Trellix, Laurie delivers end-to-end go-to-market programs for data security products. This includes developing product positioning and messaging strategies, writing external content, creating sales enablement, supporting analyst relations activities, and strengthening competitive intelligence programs.

She is a life-long fan of the Buffalo Bills and Syracuse Orange who can often be found at Walt Disney World with her fellow Annual Passholders. She welcomes any conversation about the Star Wars and Marvel franchises. (Really all things Sci-Fi/fandom.) And her devoted but elderly beagle, Jax, can often be seen in the background of her video conferences.
