Tristan Mahan

Tristan is a Northeast Ohio native and proud to be a member of the NEO WiCyS Leadership Team.  Although she holds a degree in Early Childhood Education, her career journey took an unexpected (and very exciting!) turn into Cyber Security 10+ years ago. 
Currently, Tristan is a Sr. Information Security Consultant and Team Lead on the Cyber Threat Management team at KeyBank.  In this role, she acts as the SME for the bank’s web access policies as well as the DMARC email security program.  Additionally, she manages the relationship with Key’s phishing takedown vendor and partners with many groups (including the Security Operations Center, HR, Legal, and Corporate Investigations) to handle sensitive investigations and incident response.  She holds a CISSP certification and is a member of the FS-ISAC and NEOCC threat-sharing communities. 
When she’s not fighting cyber-crime, Tristan enjoys playing card & board games with her husband of 16 years, sitting on her front porch with a glass of wine and a good book, and cheering for her son in flag football and baseball.
